It was extremely fun and an experience that will be extremely hard to forget! I saw the bare lot and then the finished home in exactly one week. Then it was up to me to install the HORN sewing furniture and sewing notions.
Bernina supplied the new Aurora that we don’t even have yet! (How extreme is that?!) And as if that wasn’t (I know what you’re thinking, “don’t even say that word again”)  yes I’ll say it, EXTREME enough, we also had a quilt made within 3 days. Diana McLunn opened her studio and with Laura Nowns, pieced and finished an entire “house” quilt, conceived by yours truly.
They did a fantastic job and were helped with piecing by Dale Fleming and Dawn Guglielmino with quilting by Christine Maraccini. Without them “the sewing room that Eddie built” would not have been complete.

Wow, what a way to begin our next 30 years of business! Just think mom started in 1974. Now I am going on 8 years of continued dedication and ownership. We look forward to another good 30years of success with our next generation when it’s time for her to lead. Our new online store is a step towards that future store and cutting edge business.
